Hopkins at Shakopee
7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2

Hopkins is ranked No. 2-4A, and improved to 2-0 after a 82-39 victory over Prior Lake on Nov. 29.

Senior guards Nia Hollie and T.T. Starks each scored 18 points in the win for the Royals.

Hollie (12.2 points per game), Starks (8.8 PPG) and junior guard Ashley Bates (10.2 PPG) are back from last season’s 24-win team to lead Hopkins.

Shakopee opens its season against Hopkins in a game that should help prepare the Sabers for the type of talent they will face as the newest member of the ultra-competitive South Suburban Conference.

Junior guard Taylor Koenen (17.5 PPG) and senior forward Haley Zerr (14.4 PPG) are back to lead Shakopee from a Sabers' team that finished 23-5.
