No. 5-3A Mpls. Washburn at Richfield
7:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3

Minneapolis Washburn comes into Monday night’s game at Richfield on a skid, having dropped two straight games. But it’s not for the efforts of senior Chase Coley (27.0 ppg, 18.1 rpg), who continues to rack up massive stat lines. In an 87-77 loss to NRHEG, the Iowa recruit posted a career-high 49 points, 22 rebounds and six blocks, then followed that performance up with 26 points, 20 rebounds and six blocked shots in a 71-47 loss to Minnetonka. Earlier in January, Coley also set the state’s career shot-blocking record, previously held by Esko’s Savannah Trapp. The Millers will miss her when she’s gone. Richfield has held up well despite the graduation of Miss Basketball finalist Jessica January. The Spartans’ junior trio of Kailey Adams (13.5 ppg), Kyla Adams (12.6 ppg) and Leah Barnes (12.5 ppg) have led the way to an 11-victory season already.
